Management and Expectations within the classroom coincide with the use of the Read It Once Again curriculum. The curriculum provides a management guide to help provide teachers with a general guide to promoting positive classroom management. It outlines a suggested arrangement for the classroom, effective and appropriate materials and equipment for centers, reproducible patterns for the animals seen within the curriculum, as well as a visual schedule. The animals can be used in a variety of ways. Teachers assign a student a specific animal and color in order to identify personal spaces around the room. For instance, animals can be lined up and taped to the floor for lining up procedures; they can be taped to chairs, cubbies, and table spaces to indicate where the child needs to be sitting, standing, or eating.
